Standard fabricators in India cap out at 24" nominal pipe size in 304 or 316 stainless steels. PSU procurement departments, ASME-governed EPC projects, and PESO-compliant installations require specific documentation that most Indian suppliers cannot produce โ ASME B16.47 compliance statements, third-party mill certificates for exotic alloys, and dimensional inspection reports. Missing documentation means a rejected order or a delayed plant commissioning.
Mill test certificates are provided for every alloy component โ winding strip, inner ring, outer ring, and filler material. Dimensional inspection reports are generated for all gaskets above 24". ASME B16.47 compliance statements are issued with the delivery documentation. We do not charge separately for paperwork that should be standard practice.

Crude distillation columns, vacuum towers and fractionators operate with large-diameter body flanges โ typically 30" to 52" โ in high-temperature hydrocarbon service. Turnaround-critical: a failed gasket during a planned shutdown extends the outage by days.
Reactor body flanges and nozzle connections in chlorine, sulphuric acid, nitric acid and mixed acid service demand alloy-specific sealing that cannot be compromised. The wrong alloy causes stress corrosion cracking within months.
Seawater-cooled heat exchangers on ONGC offshore platforms require large-diameter Titanium or Duplex gaskets resistant to flowing seawater corrosion. Standard 316 SS fails within one to two years in these services.
