Description
Fabric reinforced diaphragm
As the name suggests, fabric reinforced diaphragms have a cloth layer sandwiched between two layers of elastomer. The fabric helps the diaphragm to withstand higher pressures while, during the process, providing versatile movements. Any elastomer can be used to create fabric-reinforced diaphragms.
Only rubber diaphragm
Even rubber diaphragms, also known as homogeneous diaphragms, are similar to tissue-reinforced diaphragms, except without the tissue reinforcement layer. We are favored for applications with low pressure.
Insert molded diaphragms
Rubber Seals & Gaskets has the ability to manufacture diaphragms attached to the diaphragm with plastic or metal parts. The insert is fully or partially inserted into the elastomeric layers during the molding process, creating a strong bond between the two. In addition, this bonding reduces the expense of installing the diaphragm in pumps or valves. All parts are checked for accuracy at 100 percent.
Laminated diaphragms
There is a PTFE sheet with laminated diaphragms sealed with rubber. The PTFE coating gives corrosive chemicals resistance, thus increasing the diaphragm’s life. Compared to PTFE diaphragms these diaphragms are cheaper in size.
Molded die cut diaphragms
It is possible to make molded die cut diaphragms available in any shape or scale. We are made out of sheets of rubber. They can be made with or without an improved layer of fabric.
