Description

Similar to o-rings with a single lobed design, the x-rings have a four-lobed design. X-rings give a sealing surface twice as opposed to a regular o-ring. Because of this dual sealing feature, x-rings provide a dual sealing mechanism and can be used in both static and dynamic sealing applications.To retain an efficient seal, the double-seal action requires less squeeze. In addition, this reduction in squeeze ensures less pressure and a stronger seal life.
