PEEK Monofilament, PEEK Fiber
Polyetheretherketone fiber is a fully aromatic fiber, and there are ether bonds and ketone bonds, so that the high strength, high temperature resistance, friction resistance and corrosion resistance of the fiber are much higher than those of conventional fibers.
Excellent properties of PEEK Monofilament
- High Strength – Tensile strength 400～700MPa
- (Breaking strength of monofilament about 25～40cN/tex, multifilament up to 65 cN/tex)
- High Temperature resistance – Melting point 334～343 ℃, long-term use temperature 250 ℃
- Chemical resistance – (Except concentrated sulfuric acid, almost insoluble in any conventional chemical reagents)

Application of PEEK Monofilament
– Conveyor Belt
Food processing conveyor, paper processing conveyor
– Filter.
It is woven into fine fabric (<0.15mm PEEK monofilament ), which is resistant to oil pollution and corrosion, and is used in fuel filters for aviation aircraft and automobiles. ; Woven belt-pressed filter fabrics (0.15 mm to 0.30 mm PEEK monofilaments , or PEEK multifilaments) can be used in the field of chemical production, helping powder slurry dewatering or filtering hot melt adhesives; also used in the medical field , used in dialysis, diagnostic devices or chromatography instruments to ensure purity.
