Precision Sealing & Flow Control by Kriloha Gaskets

The Architecture of Fluid Control

In any industrial piping system, the valves and fittings are the nodes of control. However, the integrity of these components relies entirely on the precision of their internal parts. **Kriloha Ltd.** is a global leader in the engineering and manufacturing of high-performance **Valve & Fitting Parts**. We specialize in providing the critical internal components that allow valves to shut off bubble-tight and fittings to remain leak-proof under extreme pressure and temperature.

From high-cycle chemical processing to high-pressure steam distribution, Kriloha’s valve and fitting parts are the “Internal Armor” of your fluid system. We provide the mechanical invincibility and chemical agility required to keep your flow control assets operational, safe, and efficient.

Why Quality Internal Parts Matter

A valve body can last for decades, but its internal sealing surfaces are subject to constant mechanical wear, chemical attack, and thermal cycling. Using substandard replacement parts is the leading cause of “passing” valves and fugitive emissions.

Kriloha’s valve parts serve three primary functions:

  1. Zero-Leakage Containment: Ensuring that when a valve is closed, there is absolutely no downstream migration of fluid.
  2. Fugitive Emission Control: Protecting the stem and bonnet areas to ensure that volatile organic compounds (VOCs) do not escape into the atmosphere.
  3. Frictional Reduction: Utilizing advanced polymers to ensure smooth, low-torque operation, extending the life of actuators and manual levers.

The Kriloha Advantage: Engineering Excellence

Our Core Valve & Fitting Parts Sub-Categories

The seat is the primary sealing interface of a valve. At Kriloha, we manufacture precision seats for Ball, Butterfly, and Globe valves.

  • PTFE & RPTFE Seats: The industry standard for chemical resistance and low friction.

  • PEEK & Devlon V-API: Specialized high-modulus polymers for high-pressure and high-temperature service where standard Teflon would fail.

  • Metal-to-Metal Inserts: Utilizing stellite and hardened alloys for abrasive slurry service.

The stem is the most common leak path for fugitive emissions. Our packing sets are engineered to provide a dynamic seal that allows for shaft rotation while maintaining a gas-tight barrier.

  • Die-Formed Graphite Rings: Ideal for high-temperature steam and fire-safe applications.

  • Chevron V-Packing (PTFE): Multiple-lip seals that utilize line pressure to increase sealing force.

These static seals ensure that the valve housing itself remains leak-proof.

  • Spiral Wound Gaskets: Custom-sized for valve bonnets to handle thermal cycling.

  • Encapsulated O-Rings: Combining the chemical resistance of FEP/PFA with the resilience of a Silicone or Viton core.

Beyond the valve, we provide the parts that make fittings reliable.

  • Ferrule Sets: Precision-machined for instrumentation fittings to ensure a swaged, leak-proof grip on tubing.

  • Flange Adapters & Spacers: Custom-machined components for transitioning between different piping standards (ANSI to DIN).

Advanced Material Science at Kriloha

The performance of a valve part is determined by its material “DNA.” Kriloha Gaskets utilizes a range of high-performance materials tailored to specific industrial stressors:

Maintenance & Troubleshooting: The Kriloha Guide

Cryogenic Engineering

We manufacture specialized seats and seals for LNG service that remain flexible and functional at -196°C.

CNC Precision Machining

Every seat and insert is machined to micron-level tolerances, ensuring a perfect "match-fit" with the valve ball or disc.

Surface Topography

We control the surface finish of our polymer parts to ensure they provide a "Gas-Tight" seal without increasing the breakout torque of the valve.

To ensure the longevity of your valve and fitting parts, Kriloha Gaskets recommends the following maintenance protocols:

  1. Torque Verification: Stem packing should be tightened just enough to stop leakage; over-tightening leads to premature wear and high operating torque.

  2. Chemical Compatibility: Always verify that the elastomer or polymer is compatible with the process media, including any cleaning agents used during “Clean-In-Place” (CIP) cycles.

  3. Storage: Polymer parts should be stored away from direct UV light and extreme temperature fluctuations to prevent material degradation before installation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Q: Can Kriloha manufacture parts for obsolete or legacy valves?

A: Yes. By utilizing our reverse-engineering and CNC machining capabilities, we can produce high-performance seats and seals for valves where the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) no longer provides support. We only require a sample or a detailed technical drawing.

A: While Virgin PTFE offers excellent chemical resistance, it is prone to “cold flow” or deformation under pressure. Reinforced PTFE (RPTFE), filled with glass, carbon, or stainless steel, provides significantly higher wear resistance and load-bearing capacity, making it ideal for higher pressure classes.

A: We provide specific components designed for fire-safe valves, such as Flexible Graphite secondary seals and metal-backed polymer seats. These are engineered to maintain a seal even after the primary soft seat has been consumed by extreme heat, meeting API 607 standards.

A: For pressures exceeding Class 600, we typically recommend PEEK or Devlon V-API. These materials have a high modulus of elasticity, which prevents the seat from deforming into the valve port under high differential pressures.

A: Standard polymers can be eroded by abrasive particles. For these environments, Kriloha recommends Tungsten Carbide coated metal seats or specialized highly cross-linked polymers that offer superior abrasion resistance compared to standard PTFE.
