Description
As the name suggests, PTFE encapsulated O-rings are Viton ® or Silicone O-rings enclosed in a PTFE shell. Such O-rings therefore provide an ideal combination of Viton ® /Silicone’s unique properties as well as PTFE. They outperform traditional o-rings in harsh environments due to their excellent chemical resistance, temperature tolerance and mechanical properties. In other terms, depending on the core material of service in temperature ranges from -62 ° to 204 ° C (-80 ° to+ 400 ° F), Viton ® or Silicone are suitable.
